Americans: Get your voter registration / absentee ballot request this weekend

As regular readers might know, I am a member of the Korean chapter of Republicans Abroad.  We will be meeting this weekend at 2:00 in the lobby-floor coffee shop at the Millennium Seoul Hilton near Seoul Station in downtown Seoul.

The formal meeting will probably end around 3:00.  At that time, I will be available to help those who want to register to vote or request an absentee ballot.  I will assist anyone, regardless of party affiliation (although I will do it with a smile if you are a Republican).

If you are already registered, you will probably get your ballot in time to vote.  If you are not registered, it may be too late.  Check here for rules for your state or leave a comment and I will tell you when I check here on Saturday afternoon.

    Hello Andy,

Which exit do we take as we’re heading out of Seoul Station for the Millennium Seoul Hilton Hotel?

BTW, I don’t wish to register I just want to meet other republicans here in the ROK. Is there formal membership available to the organization?

I don’t know the exit number, but you need to get off on the opposit side from the station if you plan to take the 10-15 minute walk to the hotel.

Any Republicans are welcome to the meeting. We collect dues from members once a year.

So Andy, are you going to sponsor a “Illegal Alien Hunt” with paintguns for the local chapter or is a coffee klutch a more appropriate activity for Korea? :-)

I think it’s nice they’re getting out and meeting the people they don’t want in their country…

I wish there were more Republicans abroad… and that they couldn’t vote when they’re out of the country. :)

    Geez fellas, where’s the love?

Here I am offering a public service and all I get is grief.

Hey Andy, did lesbian republican Nora Park ever take you up on your offer for her to join the Republicans Abroad?

    Shakuhachi,

I shall not touch that one with a twenty-meter-cattle prod.

Are there any meetings not on a Sunday? I’d like to come out to one of these things, but I had church commitments.
