DID YOU KNOW the Thai military has launched 19 coups since 1932?
Fun fact

They must be very good at it by now. When is Korea’s next one? Seems like any day now.
What’s interesting is that even though Thailand seems to be prone to coups d’etat, the military pledges loyalty to the crown…in a sense, it’s a constitutional unconstitutionality.
17 coups since the current king was ascended to the throne in 1946! (According to the newscast I’m watching right now.)
“Ascended,” not “was ascended.” Duh.
Wouldn’t that be a monarchical unconstitutionality?
Well, besides the practice with coups, one can truly understand the smooth state of affairs when we consider that the 3 main activities in Thailand are eating, sleeping, and boom booming.
