Some one has created a Yahoo group with some more photos of the trip.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/seoul_club/

I put a write up and a few photos on my blog:
http://seoul-man.blogspot.com/2006/09/whos-sori-now.html

I just heard from a Korean lady who works upstairs in our block
that we were on TV. She recognized my wife in the news item about us!

They interviewed me as well, but it seems they did not use that bit.

Nice photos, not boring.

Mmmm, kimjang (first photo, which looks quite nice).

Mmmm, banchan (last photo).

Nice pavilions, etc.

The cathedral is an interesting piece of work, too, except the siting is awful (surrounded by a parking lot!).

The bibimbap was, I'm happy to report, delicious. Nothing quite like a real Jeonju bibimbap.

Not boring at all. These kinds of photos make me nostalgic since they remind me of the Korea I fell in love with in the 80's. Back then, scenery like this was the rule, not the exception. Progress, I know, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.
The Bibimbab looks delicious...was it?
