She’s not only dumb, obviously very confused, and lacking in self confidence. She is also ugly to boot. And to think that she was even considered a model material.. well.. America must be really lacking in beautiful girls.
Ugly? She’s certainly not ugly. Rather the opposite, in my opinion, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I suppose. I’m not so sure that she’s dumb either, though she might be. Confused, yes. Lacking self-confidence, yes.
She contradicts herself, but I’m not surprised. She’s raised by conservative Korean parents who demand filial loyalty and conformity to their values (I’m assuming) but in an American culture that prizes self-expression and individuality.
She’s got a steep learning curve ahead of her. That’ll be the measure of her intelligence.

I agree Jeff. Plus I think she was just overwhelmed by the whole thing. She is quite a beauty IMHO. Hopefully she’ll learn from her mistakes, solve her identity crisis and bounce back. An enunciation coach wouldn’t hurt either.
I don’t think she’s ugly at all. If anything, I felt sorry for her - a little Xanax or Valium would have helped a lot :). The last time I was cringing like that was while watching episodes of The Office.
Well, well, we see it once again, the self-loathing of being Korean. She even had the temerity to discount Korean guys for being too short. She obviously wants to shed her skin and be a white person. Why is she in the States you ask, well Daddy probably could not get into the right School and was relegated to finding a crumb in the land of plenty.
I know Gyopos that come back to Korea to work and they have a horrible time. They are cast as traders and bottom feeders some of which is true. The backwards confusion is typical in K-Americans. Oh and by the way…. how the fuck can our little school girl Michelle be ranked #2 and not win a golf tournament. She has no problem espousing her Korean heritage, especially when it comes to local endorsements. Go back to school Michelle you do not have the emotional intelligence to compete yet. Your Daddy is a pimp.
Oh, fugg model contest..Plastic gold diggers..one more here if you want to soil your eyes

She’s 21 years old. Let’s give her a break. I mean, it’s a beauty contest, not a speech contest.
One’s ability to express oneself verbally does not directly correlate to intelligence level. I would welcome Gina to our Toastmasters club, where one year of regular weekly attendance would help her a lot.
