For the seventh year running, I am a member of a fantasy football league run by a friend of mine in North Carolina.
My team, Seoul Train, won it all in 1999, but it has been a struggle since then and I have often renamed the team “Seoul Caboose” by midseason.
Anyway, if there is enough interest, I would like to create a custom league over at ESPN’s webpage for 8-12 teams. To make things cooler, they have a keeper option so we can develop teams over several seasons.
It will be a private league so I can tweak the rules and exercise the keeper option.
If interested, leave a comment with email information so I can invite you. K-bloggers have dibs but Marmot Hole commenters and bloggers from/about other Asian nations are also invited (it would be great to have a couple of teams from Japan/China and some North American-based K-bloggers).
Regular blogging will resume shortly

I’m in. Does your friend from NC still play? I’m just came to Korea from NC.
I am definitely interested, been doing a Dynasty league for a couple years and straight up one year pools down here in Busan for 5 years plus a couple back in Canada. Would love to get into a nice Keeper league around here.
Cheers.

While my tastes usually run toward fantasty basketball, I would have been interested in trying out some fantasty football… Until, that is, I read this week’s Bill Simmon’s column:

Now I am just intimidated.
If you still have a spot I’m interested. It will be a challenge since I have really kept up with the US sports scene these past couple of years, but I’ll be competitive regardless. Just wait.
