South Korean military officials have confirmed that North Korea launched a seventh missile—presumed to be either a Scud or a Rodong—from a missile base at Kitdaeryong, Anbyon-gun, K(G)angwon-do at around 5:20 p.m. today.
My question is, are they having fun yet?
Well, as amusing as this all may be for the powers that be in Pyongyang, it’s all very disconcerting for officials in Seoul. Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon said today that it would be impossible to carry on relations with the North as usual. A Foreign Ministry official said Ban got on the horn with the foreign ministers of the United States, China, Japan and Russia, telling them that Seoul would reconsider its relationship with Pyongyang, including the question of humanitarian aid.
The official said Ban stressed to the foreign ministers that North Korea’s missile launches were a provocative act that would deepen North Korea’s international isolation and negatively influence intra-Korean relations. He would continue to press North Korea to return to the six-party talks.

Maybe they just *like* missiles . . .
This is beginning to resemble comedy. Perhaps if they put a severed head or a pirate’s treasure map inside one of their missiles it would garnish more attention.
I’ll believe that when they shut down Kaesong and Gumgang.
Sperwer,
You and I know that’ll NEVER happen. Not as long as there’s money to be made. As for Seoul “reconsidering it’s relationship with Pyongyang”, hahahahahahahaha, “Please, sir, may I have another?”

I know, I know; but wouldn’t it be nice if our ally grew some hair on its bural, for a change?
Ban is growing balls. He has been ever since he put his hat into the UN ring.
My money is that the Noh admin. will pull the rug out fomr under him soon enough. Someone in the blue house will come out with some appologetic/sympathetic/idiotic statement that will pull the South back into the dunce corner.
My last message refers to Juggertha’s previous message.
Sadly I also think Juggertha is right there…
