NOTE TO CHEONG WA DAE STAFF: When President Roh goes to Washington to meet with Bush in September, make sure he doesn’t try something like this.
Well, that’s disturbing

I always envisioned Pres. Roh as more of a Johnny Cash fan, myself… dunno why.
At any rate, the Koizumi bit got a lot of play over here in the States. Probably more than it deserved, but hey.. How often do you get to hear the Prime Minister of Japan sing the first bar to “Love Me Tender”? And at least it’s a better moment to be remembered for than how Bush I is remembered in Japan.
Roh won’t get the chance; Bush is never going to favor him with the kind of personal attention that he showed Koizumi - who is a big Elvis fan - when he arranged for a Presidentially-escorted tour of Graceland. But, hey, maybe Bush could arrange for Roh to sit in on a seesion of the Park Tong-sun trial.
I think this is the coolest thing ever.
Hell we Canuckle-heads elected Trudeau and Cretien for something like seventy five years apiece because they weren’t afraid to loosen up sometimes.
The Noh-Mesiter could do a rendition of 이박사 instead
I am sure a few jaws would drop…
