You’d thought they’d have at least called me…

Can’t say we’re serving whale for lunch in school cafeterias, but 15 officials from Ganghwa Island’s Office of Education are under fire for having an evening dogmeat soup and booze party in the cafeteria of a Ganghwa Island elementary school.

The officials were invited to the festivity by the school’s headmaster, who wanted to encourage the office of education following the office’s evaluation by the city of Incheon’s educational authorities.

Some looked askance at the party being held in the school’s cafeteria, especially at a time when school lunch service has been suspended in many Incheon schools following mass food poisoning outbreak.

Mr. Marmot, this is the type of story that restores my faith in public education. What’s a little Soju and mung mung tang among friends?
