Yawn… North may test missile tomorrow

Citing a diplomatic source in Seoul, Yonhap is reporting that the American, South Korean and Japanese governments have provisionally concluded that North Korea may test fire a missile of some sort (possibly a Taepodong 2) tomorrow. Actually, the source said the governments believe it more likely than not that the North will conduct a missile test.

All this means, of course, that with Korea’s next World Cup match against France set for the early morning of Monday, nobody will actually give a shit whether or not the North tests a missile unless it lands in Gwanghwamun.  And even then, if people are partying like they apparently do in Apgujeong-dong, I doubt anyone would really notice.

Aw, perhaps the North is planning this little missile test in order to upstage the South?? Seems like a likely guess to me….
