im currently watching ghana vs czech, ghana is completely dominating czech, esp. now that they are facing a 10 man czech team. unbelieveable. looks like us is in deeper @*&#*@ than i thought. 2-0 so far and theres about 10 minutes left in regulation, i dont see czech coming back with ten players.

man, the argentina game was extremely fun to watch. like some comments have already said, it was hard to tell if argentina was that good or serbinegro was that bad.. either way argentina football was looking almost flawless, and their offensive capabilities looked unrivaled. this might be the team to fear.

It has not been established that the U.S. needs to fear the Italians.

Our good ol’ boys are a decent team, one that has speed, more than adequate defensive skill, and two solid goalies.

One nervous wipeout against one of the probably five best sides in the world does not necessarily mean that Team U.S.A. is not up to snuff.

Argentina was quite good, although the extreme suckiness of Serbia helped Argentina out quite a bit. It didn’t help either that Serbia was down a man for most of the second half. Still, by the 5th goal, I felt pretty darn bad for Serbia-Montenegro. Hopefully, Italy will have a bit more mercy when they play the USA tomorrow than Argentina had for Serbia today.

As far as the Nether regions go, I was really disappointed with their play. They are a lot better than that. If they had put on light blue jerseys I would have sworn it was Uruguay squirming in the grass every 5 seconds. I started off pulling for the Dutch but by the end I was dying for an equalizer.
