And in news that’s actually important, in a survey of leading Korean entertainment and fashion photographers by the Korean weekly Movie Week, actress Kim Hye-su—a favorite here at the Marmot’s Hole—was selected as the actress with the “most beautiful face.” The surveyed photographers deserve praise simply for having looked up long enough to notice her visage.

I guess it really depends on the American public and how close the thing actually gets to the States.
If there were some sort of “machanical malfunction” that caused parts of that stucker to actually land, like, on the Microsoft campus and stuff then all bets are off.

If the test is indeed another medium range shot, the Navy might get a chance to try out the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense System in a real life situation. Only tested platform is assigned to SOJ ops, though I have no idea if its actually there now. If it works I imagine the Aegis BMD program will get a huge boost and Japan will hurry up its purchase of the system w/SM-3s. If it’s a bust, the Army with its THAAD program will have to get off its ass and have something out before the projected 2010 date.
