I think that guy in the white t-shirt really is the devil!!!
Sometimes these are set up. Yesterday I was having lunch with my classmates from Yonsei KLI, it was our last day. Suddenly our teacher (head of our level) got a call from someone at MBC who wanted one person to do an interview on Korean soccer and another to go to the stands and cheer (red shirt, face paint, shouting “대한민국” all night). My friend said “all right, I really don’t know much about Korean soccer but I can do an interview I guess”
yeah my guess is that its just for show because its cool and appealing for native koreans to see foreigners cheering for Korea. I saw plenty of non-Koreans at City Hall dressed up and face painted, but none were overly enthusiastic about the game (at least from the outside) and most were either with a native significant other or from what it looked like, exchange students
Cool
