Guest blogging World Cup 2006, anybody?

Special request from the Marmot

Look, I’m a Yank. I like the World Cup and all, but I don’t know shit about the sport and, frankly, it means more to me that the team-formerly-known-as-the-Hartford Whalers are representing the conference-formerly-known-as-the-Wales Conference in the Stanley Cup finals. So if you know footie, can write in a semi-entertaining fashion and don’t mind the ignobility of being associated with this blog, however temporarily, send me an email at marmotshole@gmail.com.

If I wasn’t in the middle of exams and a full 8 hours out of synch with the whole tournament I’d put my hand up.

I hope someone steps up, I like the discussions generated by the world cup posts so far.

    peace.

Baduk seems to know football quite well and is … err… not shy about expressing his opinions.

I would almost pay money to see Baduk post on the World Cup.

Who are the Hartford Whalers these days, anyhow? I stopped keeping track about the time the NHL expanded to Tampa Bay (a long time ago now, but not as long ago as the Original Six, I guess…).
