According to KBS, you need to be careful who you entrust your unwanted dogs with these days. Some businesses, passing themselves as pet lovers who’ll place your pet dog with loving families, are instead selling the dogs to dogmeat restaurants. Everyday, some 100 pet dogs are abandoned in Seoul. It costs some 50,000 won to put an unwanted dog down, but you can get 3,000 won per 0.6 kilograms of dogmeat by selling them to the relevant restaurants.

The ones that are beaten right before being killed have the most adrenaline kick in the soup! Feels great!
Speaking of taking a beating, USA got absolutely schooled by the Czechs. Ouch!
Sambek, that was indeed a beating and a well deserved one. I’m all for the US doin great but that was the worst single performance by any team yet in the Cup this year. By the looks of it I’d say Arena has done nothing to improve this team since the ‘94 cup. Casey Keller’s comments before the game about getting some respect from Europeans should be flushed down the toilet. Good Luck against Italy.
And, can I take my pooch to go please? How about in a doggie bag ^_*
I don’t know is worse, having its ears dyed a flourescent bright color with painted nails, or being the main ingredient in a bowl of soup.

is this a fact? i mean im almost sure dogmeat restaurants dont use pet dogs as food.
Well, Mr. Lee, you can watch the KBS video yourself and make your own decision as to the veracity of the news. Granted, I’d like to think most dogmeat restaurants don’t, but when you have the Dogmeat Nazis opposing the rational legalization of dogmeat “Because it Makes Korea Look Bad” ™, it makes it harder to legislate regulations to ensure things like this don’t happen.
Legalize dogmeat and prostitution! And pot! (For the Canadians)
Dogmeat gives you such a high like you wouldn’t believe. I can see the case for some kind of regulation of this mind-altering substance.
Huh. Never did nuthin’ much for me…
We Americans want pot & prostitution legalized too!
I remember as a kid hearing rumors from people (dog-haters) that the Chinese restaurants pay top dollar for cats and dogs. I’m sure they will be happy to hear that Korean restaurants are buyers now too.
