Got a camera, a piece of paper, and 30 seconds? Help LiNK change the world.

Help make a difference

Taken straight from LiNK’s weblog:

LiNK is amassing a giant collection of “messages to the president” which we shall put on a banner to be delivered to South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun to show him that the people of Korea and the world are watching how he deals with the North Korean human rights crisis.

Here’s how it works:
1) write a message to President Roh about North Korea on a piece of paper. Write in Korean, English, Chinese, Swahili…the language doesn’t matter, it’s the message!
2) Take a picture of you holding the message. You can cover your eyes, mouth, or even your whole face, whatever you prefer. Here’s an example (pic)

3) Send the picture to korea@linkglobal.org
4) Pat yourself on the back for making a difference!

First of all… the war in Germany wasn’t a civil war.
Secondly, there was no “holocaust” type genocide in Korea.
Thirdly, Korea was invaded, Germany was not.
Lastly Germany did the invading, Korea did not invade any other
    sovereign nation.

So all in all that idiot with the piece of paper can use that to
    wipe his ass.

The two war are not comparable in any way.

    tae1822 - typical rationalist moron.

The ‘differences’ you mention mean dick all so why don’t you get your head out of the sand, or wherever it is you’ve been keeping it.

Dictators like Dear Leader Kin Jung-Il who herd other people into work/death/re-education camps, deprive them of their rights, beat, torture, brainwash and murder them are no different whether it be Nazi Germany, Stalinist Russia, North Korean Gulags, Japanese POW camps, Khmer Rouge or Chinese re-education Camps, or Abu Graib. Idiot.

Tae belongs to the school that thinks that oppression and murder of members of the same nationality or ethnic group is less serious than oppressing or killing members of another.

Yup, that and the ‘if we don’t talk about it it ain’t happenin’ school. In 20 years people will look at South Korean denial of this and compare it to those in Nazi Germany who insisted the Jews were not being harmed. Hang your head in shame, Tae 1822.
