		<description>The Mayan analogy is misleading--only in the broadest sense are those farmers connected to the land in that area, since their tenancy can't be traced back for generations. 

I'm sympathetic, but Seoul has a long history of mass evictions, typically with little or no compensation, so in comparison the farmers in Pyeongtaek are being well compensated, and only because the U.S. is involved, and not estate speculators.</description>
