Sure. Most larger temples now have their own websites, some of them quite good...

All building at all temples
have electric lights now, AFAIK.

And broadband Internet access. BTW, last time I was at Bongam-sa (which was a Lunar New Year---I called ahead and got permission from one of the monks), I swear I heard the monks playing FIFA 2000.

Cool. You're a good photog...

You say there "Each of the individual buildings has
electric lights, which isn't surprising..."

Would that EVER be surprising in 2006 South Korea...?
Strange aspect to coment on. All building at all temples
have electric lights now, AFAIK. Including the hermitages
that can only be reached by trail, except perhaps the
very remotest, like Jiri-san Dosol-am...? Hell, even
Taebaek-san Manggyeong-sa up at 1500 m has electricity.

Nice photos indeed. His captions are pretty amusing, displaying a true innocence -- statements like "Its the biggest temple in Korea." -- not even close, sorry. And "They marched around this spire singing something like kam-o-ne-bool-sa which a monk told me is the name of the original guy to get enlightened." -- that would be a pagoda, and they were chanting "so-ka-muni-bul" [Sakyamuni Buddha] -- he just got the break-point wrong :-)
I'm not putting the guy down; it's great when someone new takes an interest and makes an effort...
