Sometimes, you gotta wonder when you spend all that time preparing for a summit and mistakes like this get made.

Somehow I feel no remorse for Hu, who has enough blood on his hands. The man has a stone face and heart. I hope he chokes on his vienna sausages or whatever Bush serves for lunch.

China needs to muster the pettiness to launch a group like VANK.

Unfortunately, Chinese don’t choke on food. They’ll eat just about anything… or so the saying goes.

Just as embarrassing was the protestor shouting at Hu from the bleachers. I wish the Chinese would let a few protestors sneak into a diplomatic event to scream at Bush next time he visits China.

Below is a link to a well-written blog piece on the protestor at Hu’s speech.

Sonagi,

Kind of like whereever a US president goes for decades….

Also a follow-up on what happens to forty-seven year-old women in America that exercise the constitutional right of free-speech:

Hu Heckler on harassment charges

of course, this is not about the mis-application of law and the systematic abuse of power that takes place in America either . . . really.

USinKorea,

I’m not talking about a public place like a street or outside the embassy. The heckler, a ‘reporter’ for a newspaper linked to Falun Gong, was was on the grounds of the White House thanks to a press pass given by the White House, which has refused to credential NYT columnist Maureen Dowd among others since Bush took office.

This is just one more example of the quality of people running the U.S. government today. The horror!
