Korean film director Shin Sang-ok, whose life certainly took some Hollywood-like twists and turns, has passed away.

Yeah, I’ll bet.
Seriously, though, that was quite a read about his life. Of course, I knew who he was, but it’s always a fascinating story. Someone should make a movie about it, although with the anti-Pyongyang and the non-anti-Pyongyang rift so strong in the ROK nowadays, I think it wouldn’t be made as an honest and fair portrayal.
