Tails of tiger love and death

(by guest blogger, Andy Jackson)

I don’t know who gets the blame for this one; China for given Korea lame tigers or Korea for not taking proper care of them.  Either way, it is not good (The Hindu):

A Siberian tiger given to South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun by Chinese leader Hu Jintao died unexpectedly in captivity, an official said on Friday.

The four-year-old female tiger named Aprok died on Wednesday morning in a zoo at the Korea National Arboretum, about 25 kilometers (15 miles) north of Seoul, said an official at the botanic park who spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to talk to the media.

Aprok and her male partner Dooman were offered to Roh during a visit by Hu in November to replace a previous tiger couple, presented to South Korea by former Chinese President Jiang Zemin in 1994 to mark the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Why did the Chinese need to replace the tigers?  As Paul Harvey used to say, ‘now for the rest of the story:’

The earlier tigers had failed to produce offspring, despite efforts by their keepers who had shown them mating videos and even prescribed potency medicine.

Tiger porn and potency medicine?  Sounds like an evening at the local love motel.

Was the tigers’ potency medicine some form of human penis soup?

Korean tigers are noble animals. They don’t just f*** the opposite sex because it is there. They need common politics, social status, financial security and blessings from both families. Too many conditions!

Many Korean tigers have become extint, or have found other tiger variety(non-Koreans). Today’s newspaper suggests in one village in ChoongNam, 40% of couples are from international marriages. We should celebrate the extinction of pure Korean tigers.

-P.S. Which idiot suggested showing “love videos” to tigers will get them in heat? He must be confusing tigers with humans. And, who made those videos? How? By sneaking into the cage while they are at it? Is it against the law to take pictures of tigers engaged in love making?

Some badly-produced X-rated videos actually turn people as well as animals off on sex. If I had seen two ugly fat people getting on in beastly manner or have seen the Brokeback mountain as the first exposure on the subject, I might have turned off sex for my entire life.

Luckly (or is it unluckly) that did not happen to me. I have produced two beautiful offsprings, a male and a female. I have done my duty.

My female tiger was a sexy bitch and I enjoyed every minute of the “task”. I guess I was luckier than the two Korean tigers in this article.
