Gong Li. ‘Nuff said.
Well, almost ’nuff said. Premiere Magazine selected her performance in “Fairwell My Concubine” as the 89th greatest film performance of all time, just beating out Jeff Bridges for his role in “The Big Lebowski.”

Ha ha! Good show! This ought to distract our blogger warriors for a spell.
Is it just a coincidence that you didn’t post a Korean or Japanese babe?
Yes, Iceberg. It’s an old blogging axiom. “To bring peace to war-torn comment threads, post third-nation hotties.”
Actually, I’m a huge Gong Li fan. One of my favorite actresses.
Does that make you a Sinophile? Oh shit! I’ve started it again.

That was released in 1993? I would have guessed Farewell My Concubine was about 1988. I remember I liked it but I don’t remember much about the film. I’ll have to check it out again. Is Li the only East Asians on the list?
No 22. Johnny Depp? Edward Scissorhands? What?!
Where did Keanu Reeves end up on that list?
Is Li the only East Asians on the list?
Nope. Some dude from a Kurosawa flick is on the list somewhere too.
And Farewell My Concubine was in 1993, no?
Anyway, I can’t stop looking at her cleavage. Did she get those done or what?
Hey, Bridges deserved an Oscar for his role as The Dude. Classic. But, this chica sure did look hot back in ‘93.
And she hasn’t lost any of it since then.
i coulda been a contender…
“And she hasn’t lost any of it since then. ”
Hey, I’m not going to argue with the host.
May the breast, err, best actress win:

Stage 3 Yellow Fever.
on a different note: while we’re on the subject of Korean Tabloid crap and movies, I just watched Sympathy for Lady Vengeance.
Park Chan-wook can do no wrong. (I know a lot would disagree)
This was way more intense than Oldboy… and Lee Young-ae totally made this movie, too.
Damn I hope Gong Li does a nude scene in a movie at some point. Doubt it, though. Yes, Park Chan-wook was good in Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
