And now for something completely different…

Not Korea-related at all, but this SNL digital short with Natalie Portman is pretty damn funny.

That’s why I don’t listen to 99.9 % of rap. It has been co-opted like a M*****F****r by any lame wanna-be singer out here so much so that rap has become a joke on a has-been TV comedy show.

Slapping the interviewer with the chair was the only thing that almost made me smile.

It was pretty funny, but kind of weird at the same time to see a short-haired boyish Portman gangster rapping.

I mean, she’s grown quite a bit since Leon, to say the least…
And I am not sure I like the current version.

Oh well, I am just an old fart is all.

Why do so many White kids listen to gangsta rap?

Why did so many Americans listen to The Beatles? Why did so many people in the 60’s listen to folk singers who sang about drugs, peace, and free love? Why did so many kids in the 80’s listen to “devil worshipping” butt-rock.. I mean heavy metal? Why did so many kids in the 90’s listen to grunge and punk sung by drug addicts while they moshed and slammed against each other in mosh pits?

Because teenagers are angry and rebellious. They choose to listen to whatever most upsets their parents and goes against the “establishment.” And nothing upsets modern day middle-aged white parents more than having their children listen to angry/violent black music.

The world needs to see a Kim Jong Il impersonator do a gangsta rap video.

KJI’s got the “gangsta” part down pretty good….

White, Korean, Belgian, whatever kids like rap for the transgressive element, true, it just looks comical when Koreans or “wiggers” put on the whole gangsta/pimp getup like they be down wid’ it in da hood…it has the reverse effect from what they probably intend of making them look more clueless than hip. When kids (in the West anyway) dressed like hippies or punks it wasn’t the exclusive look of one ethnic group.
