From Friday, the central passageway through the Sungnyemun (Namdaemun) Gate will be opened to tourists from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Explanations on the history of the gate (and Korea’s National Treasure No. 1) will be given on Saturday and Sunday.
The gate was closed off in 1907 as the Japanese removed its surrounding fortress walls to make way for traffic.

There was some talk of routing traffic away from or through tunnels below the gate–hope they do that.
Helluva ROK drop.
I wonder if they’ll let me in there if I pretend I’m a tourist.
Helluva ROK drop.
If NK tanks made it as far as Namdaemun, I think a ROK drop would be superfluous.
