Human bird flu cases confirmed

The Korea Center for Disease Control and Prevention said four people have tested positive for antibodies of the H5N1 strain of avian influenza. The four had participated in the cull of chickens and ducks during Korea’s bird flu outbreak between December 2003 and March 2004.
