Server issue

It seems my blog is sucking up too many resources on my server. Why that is, I don’t know, but it may be a buggy plugin. I’ve deactivated all my plugins and activated the default template to see if that makes a difference. As it stands now, my usage looks like this:

3.21 0.57 0.2 (%CPU/%MEM/MySQL Processes)
Top Process %CPU 79.5 /usr/bin/php
Top Process %CPU 51.0 /usr/bin/php
Top Process %CPU 48.0 /usr/bin/php

I welcome insight from any techies out there.

I’m inclined to agree with Max, not that I am a techie by any stretch but the /usr/bin/php directory does (should?) not contain enough data to produce those sorts of numbers.

    I don’t know much though.

    peace.

I had a similar-ish problem a while back, and it turned out that a few sites were leaching (if that’s the right word) some images from my site. Saving their bandwidth and CPU usage, and kindly passing it all on to me.

Do you have your own server or are you using virtual hosting?

    It’s probably a server issue.
