A bus terminal run by Sammi-Daewoo was torched during “Muhammad cartoon” protests in Peshawar, Pakistan. The terminal building, 17 buses, three minivans and two personal cars were destroyed in the blaze.
Four Pakistani employees of the company were injured as they tried to stop the mob. The company estimates damage from the fire to be around 3 billion won (about 3 million U.S. dollars).
A Korean lawyer in Lahore blasted the Pakistani government, saying, “We’d made many requests to the Pakistani government for assistance, but the government–claiming that it would make the situation worse, has been avoiding responding actively, eschewing the deployment of police. The central and state governments have been busy dodging responsibility.”

Koreans have been doing a lot of business in the Middle East for years, and the incident in Pakistan is probably a one-off. They’re not stirring it up like the Western infidels.
