USFK apologizes for Gwangju subway incident

USFK command has officially apologized for Sunday’s gochu exhibition in Gwangju. In an email sent to the media, USFK expressed its deep regret for the unseemly incident and apologized to the citizens of the city of Gwangju. It also expressed its intention to cooperate actively with the Korean authorities. The email said the soldiers in question had partially admitted to having engaged in some sort of nonsense.

Gwangju police, meanwhile, plan to book the GIs for indecent exposure.

I guess the big question would be what would happen to the average ajeossi doing this? Any thoughts, Brendon (if you are out there)?

Also, what were three soldiers doing in Kwangju? Were they actually airmen?

There is a PATRIOT missile battery from 35th ADA Brigade down in Kwangju and that is probably the unit that these soldiers are from because those are the only US Army soldiers I know of down in Kwangju. If this is proven true at least in the military justice system there is a charge of lewd acts that can be brought against them. They may look at be in significant military trouble.

Oh yeah, I should’ve remembered the Patriots from the Kwangju mayor’s threat to remove them after His Imperiousness was held up at SFO.

Trust me, being in Patriot is part of the problem. Treat Soldiers like animals locked up in cages, and you get animals when the cages are opened.
