Do you think it was the chopsticks thing that enabled him to catch those passes?

Great game, I was rooting for the Steelers. I have to be honest, I thought the Seahawks were ripped off a bit. The first TD pass to Jackson was good, and Roethlisberger did not break the goal line.

Although a blowout would’ve been worse, the game sucked. The officials’ kids must’ve been offered scholarships by the Art Rooney Benevolent Fund. And how did you like Mick’s old lady sagging underarm fat during the halftime monstrosity? Time to put the Stones out to pasture.

Yeah right, Mick’s really let himself go……
He looks like a slim cougar to me in this pic.

Moo-moo malfunction? More like udder showoff to me.

Coming back to the main story…

Ward is a big success story. His mother is a typical Korean lowlife to some stuck-up Koreans. Yet, she has raised a genuine hero all by herself.

This is akin to a high school dropout inventing next generation of super computers.

Korea should change. “All (Korean) men and women are created equal!”

  1. [...] Other blogs have covered this already… Lost Nomad gave some background here and here. Here is another good post from Cathartidae. The Marmot’s Hole gave some more info here, here, and a more in-depth post here that has gotten many replies and is worth a read. That post addresses the issue of mixed-race Koreans and the hardships they have. I think that this current obssesion about Hines Ward is a bit silly. Nobody had ever heard of him, let alone cared about him, before this. A friend of mine was teaching a high-level class of university students while the Superbowl was on. He turned on the TV during a break and explained that one of the star players has a Korean mother. None of the students cared (it’s just stupid American football) and they asked for the channel to be changed. The next day, after Hines Ward was all over the news, the students came to class praising Hines Ward. They asked my friend, “Did you know about Hines Ward?” My friend pointed out that he was the same person he’d tried to tell them about the day before and rolled his eyes. [...]
