Whenever I name something like a blog, I think about, "How would it sound in the following sentence: 'Yeah, I saw that on...."

In that sense, Shelton, I think Koehler's Korea works. But if something sufficiently succinct but in-the-know clever can be found, that might be better. Like Marmot. Just how on Earth did Koehler become the Marmot. Are there other Marmot's? Should we expect the world's first marmot-to-marmot dynasty transfer anytime in the future?

Blogogi (with the subhead of)
Koehler's Korea

how about that?

Regardless, "Koehler's Korea" is the key. It's exactly what the blog needs (esp. given the new address). Whenever I name something like a blog, I think about, "How would it sound in the following sentence: 'Yeah, I saw that on...."

Blogogi (with the subhead of)
Koehler's Korea Tales

But they aren't really "tales." That sounds more personal and less current events-ish.

Blogogi (with the subhead of)

that would also rock, now that I think of it...
but Koehler's Korea is exactly what we need.

Koehler's Korea

kushibo's suggestion

Or how about "Nagari" (a go-stop reference)?

Because no how many good points people think they've made, nobody actually wins.

Or "Korea but with a C".

"Humanism Thru Digital" . . . "Monster Island" . . .
At least I've had a good belly laugh from these suggestions. They are better than something like "The Curious Edicts of Hwang-ban".

I'm glad you liked "Monster Island," but it should be written out in all its glory: "Monster Island (actually a peninsula)."

For those who don't know, this is a Simpsons reference. In "Lisa on Ice," the straight-A student Lisa worries about failing P.E.

LISA
I have to join the team or I'll get an F that will haunt me for the rest of my life.

[Lisa imagines here future, where her future self is being sworn in as President of the United States]

CHIEF JUSTICE
I now pronounce you President of these United --

REPORTER
Stop the inauguration! I just discovered our President-Elect got an F in second grade gym class!

[The crowd gasps and the future Lisa is handcuffed.]

CHIEF JUSTICE
[with serious look] In that case I sentence you to a lifetime of horror on... Monster Island.

[He then whispers to her.] Don't worry, it's just a name.

[We suddenly see future Lisa and others are chased by fire-breathing monsters]

LISA
[while running in horror, is shouting toward a man running alongside her] He said it was just a name!

MAN
What he meant is that Monster Island is actually a peninsula.

I just love that (it's better when you see it than if someone describes it), and it's a great name, given some of the incidents and attitudes and everything, plus the fact that Korea is actually a peninsula.
