All you Wordpress users will be happy to know that WP 2.0 is out.
And those looking to give Wordpress a try might want to check out Wordpress.com, a free WP hosting service. Unfortunately, the service doesn’t allow users to play with plugins (which, frankly, is much of the fun with WP, and one of the things I really miss with Typepad) and doesn’t give you nearly the kind of control over your site you’d have with a WP blog hosted on your own site. But it is a good introduction to a fine, fine blogging platform.
