Online games sparking 2nd Korean Wave?

First it was "Winter Sonata."  Now it’s Lineage 2:

The Korea Culture & Content Agency on Monday announced that it selected the online multiplayer game "Lineage2" as the winner of its annual award, which is given to an entertainment and culture product which recorded the largest export volume over the year.

The games’s developer NCsoft said it is expecting to reap 22 billion won ($22 million) from the royalties of "Lineage2", more than 10 times the amount earned by exports of "Jewel in the Palace (Taejanggum)," the smash-hit royal cuisine TV drama that has been sold in 20 countries. And the actual profits from the export of "Lineage2" are much bigger than the royalties, the company says.
