Learned today that the Korean fir tree–the Abies koreana–is considered one of the world’s most popular Christmas trees. The tree is indigenous to the mountains of southern Korea, namely, Mt. Halla, Mt. Deogyu and the Jiri Mountains, although the tree was taken to the United States and Europe in 1905, where it would be cultivated as a major money maker.

Interesting, didn’t know the trees were from Korea.
Neither did I — just noticed it on Naver today.
Didn’t know either, interesting tidbit.
This is a lie! VANK got to the Willow Pond Farm. Promised to stop bringing the black vans around if they’d say America’s Christmas trees came from Korea.
