These North Koreans are a clever bunch — not only are pretty faces good for scoring propaganda points over your hedonistic Southern adversary, they can also move the merchandise. From Yonhap:
Female models that grace the major pages of North Korean-run corporate websites. The woman on the upper left, dancer Cho Myong-ae, has also done an advertisement with [South Korean singer] Lee Hyo-ri.
Kind of interesting to see Cho without the DPRK-issue black skirt and white jeogori. Frankly, I think she could use a little more in the T&A department, but if skinny chicks are your thing, I guess she ain’t bad.

Maybe they really are starting reforms. This could be a glimmer of NK authorities taking the first step toward making NK companies responsible for turning a profit.
The next step in their evolution would be to have the models actually in the same photo as the products.
SK cosmetic doctors are saying, “Comrade Cho, come to South. We can make you so much better. We got silicons.”
Forget the lame chick ads, here’s how to marry communism and capitalism:

All hail the New York Jew and his gift to the world.
