I’d like to apologize for the relative inactivity here at the Marmot’s Hole. As those who know me personally are already aware, I am in the process of changing jobs, so things have been rather busy. To make matters worse (at least for the weblog), I’m heading to Hawaii for five days to attend my brother Kevin’s wedding. Actually, I blog this from a monitor at Incheon International Airport as the Marmotess and I wait for our flight.
And, frankly, I needed a bit of a break.
Anyway, a short time in Hawaii is just what the doctor ordered, and I hope to devote my usual amount of attention to the Hole after my return to Korea.

it’s good to get away once in a while. Hope your new job pays more and has civil hours.
well, i’ve never been one to believe too much of what i read on blogs or even in general. however, if you were to take some pics of ethnic koreans (out of their natural habitat) or korean americans (in theirs) at the beach it would greatly help in corroborating your “gone to hawaii” story. oh, and the only thongs appropriate would be on women.
to further clarify, when i say “thongs” i don’t mean “flip-flops.”
How are you going to be at the seoul club on October 9th if your in Hawaii???
