China has it’s own population of ethnic Koreans, some of whom contribute to Korea’s illegal alien population. I suspect the group were North Koreans but they might not be.

The principal was just toeing the party line…the group of nine was too large for the South Koreans to handle.

Had they been juicy girls, the principal could have just sent them to Canada, where Eight is Enough!

“..didn’t identify themselves as north korean defectors”…..what else would they be? a group of half starved people speaking korean and asking for passage to SK…….perhaps they were just some lost SK tourists, and he obviously has no obligation to assist them.
