Not this game again:
North Korea says it is not ready to rejoin six-party talks on its nuclear weapons program, Thailand said on Sunday, which if true would test the world’s patience and throw the talks process into doubt.
…
“The North Korean foreign minister told me what he had in mind, what had caused North Korea not to be able to participate in the six-party talks scheduled for Monday,” visiting Thai Foreign Minister Kantathi Suphamongkhon told reporters.“…The North Koreans said that they are willing to dismantle their nuclear weapons as long as there is trust among the parties concerned. They say they are ready to dismantle and go back to the NPT (Non-Proliferation Treaty), allowing the International Atomic Energy Agency to step in, as long as there is trust among parties.”
The worst part of this for me is that I was actually starting to believe a deal might get done before I start collecting Social Security.

testing our patience is not the best tack to take these days. the projected timeline for possible nuclear arsenal and deployment weaponry is at hand. more delays could push the wrong buttons in washington. strong-arm tactics could be the best solution.
avatar, please…
You’ll live to see a deal.
You won’t live to see one carried out….
You are an intellectual and you wait for social insecurity?
Ha, ha…
Baby boomers, like moi, will empty the coffer.
You will be holding the empty bag.

You will be holding the empty bag. The joke’s on you, old man: I’m not paying!
I am just shocked. My jaw is dangling like a pandulum.
