As some of you may have noticed, the Marmot’s Hole was acting rather bizarre today. Some people were getting blank pages, other were getting it fine, and, well, there was a host of other issues. I ended up reinstalling Wordpress — probably a good thing, as it needed to be updated anyway — and it seemed to resolve the problem until I activated the Theme Switcher plugin, which made the thing bork again. Deactivate the Theme Switcher, and everything works fine. Why this is, I haven’t figured out yet.
What this means, of course, is that until I figure what’s what, readers will unfortunately be unable to choose themes. If it’s any consolation, I happened to think this theme is very nice.

Why are you using ???????? for the slogan of your blog? Arent you afraid it will offend Korean readers?
I think some might not appreciate the irony, but just to make it clear, the phrase was used during the late Joseon dynasty:

The average Korean reader won’t be offended by the words themselves, but I doubt many will appreciate the kind of humor that would want to see it on an English language blog.

Well reinstalling appears to have fixed the problem for me. I was going to just update my links with the different path, but decided I’d give it one last try this morning.
