In response to Jing's comment, the Wikipedia article on Sikkim references a newspaper article claiming that China has officially recognized Sikkim:
As promised, China recognised "Sikkim State" as part of the "Republic of India" and handed over a new, official map to India clearly showing Sikkim as part of Indian territory.

??The eye?? of China has always been on Mongolia. Maybe they just assumed other people also would consider Mongolia as part of China since the kind people of China think that way. ??I want to have a golden toilet too??-As my husband would say.

They also don't include that former country on China's southwest border whose name begins with a "T." Does this mean China has set its eyes on Mongolia? After all, "Inner Mongolia" doesn't have the same nice ring to it as just plain old "Mongolia"....

Interesting that you should ask about the live preview function, Jing, as I just installed it tonight. Really simple, too -- just go here, download the plugin and place it in your plugin folder. After than, all you gotta do is activate it.

The comment quicktags, on the other hand, came from here. Just download the plugin and follow the directions.

Mighty intuitive of you Marmot, its odd that Mongolia was left out, particularly since Sikkim was included whereas it no longer exists today after having been joined with India. One who was more historically astute would recognize Chinese resistance to accepting Sikkim as part of India (not sure if even today Sikkim shows up as part of India on Chinese maps, it became part of India in 1975). Though the issue of "outer" Mongolia has for the most part been settled. Funny that the Soviet Union would get a mention, but Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgistan would be left out. The qualifier "shared borders for centuries" is really inaccurate especially considering some of the states either a) no longer exist or b) are quite modern.

p.s. Marmot are you using some particularly fancy plugin to get such a nice comment section with type as you go previews and formating features? If you are, I'd be interested to know how you do it, my wordpress installation is rather bland still.
