    Actually, I think it’s great news. Why should we want to be associated with or help prop up a government like that one? I believe that was the criticism levelled at the U.S. after Kwangju (leaving aside, for a moment, conspiracy theories that Jimmy Carter “approved” the massacre).

    Silly Joshua, only Republicans can be accused of approving massacres. Democrats and any other erstwhile “progresives” possess Eden-esque innocence when massacres and such go down.
