You remember the extremely disturbed white boy at Princeton who went around cutting locks of hair from Asian female students and pouring his own urine and semen into their drinks? It appears he’s entered a “pretrial intervention program” and will NOT — I repeat, NOT — face a criminal conviction. A “pretrial intervention program,” you might ask? Well, according to the State of New Jersey:
“The PTI program is based on a rehabilitative model that recognizes that there may be an apparent causal connection between the offense charged and the rehabilitative needs of a defendant,” the site continues. “Further, the rehabilitative model emphasizes that social, cultural, and economic conditions often result in a defendant’s decision to commit crime.”
Not that I expect much from probable Devil fans (check that — the Devils have no fans), but Jesus, have things really come to this in the States?
My favorite line, however, was from a Princeton professor:
Contacted by The Daily Princetonian when the news first broke, Michael Litchman, a visiting professor in the psychology department who teaches a course on abnormal psychology, said, “Obviously [Lohman] has some extremely serious issues regarding interpersonal relationships, self esteem and socially acceptable behaviors in public.”
Gee, you think?

If this had been a Korean guy in Korea doing this to Caucasian girls living here, what do you suppose the foreign community’s reaction would be to this kind of non-sentence?
Kushibo — They’d be outraged, as New Jersey residents should be in the case. Frankly, this punishment suggestion in Japundit’s comment section doesn’t sound half bad for this guy:
