   This was a case where a South Korean soldier attacked fellow ROK soldiers. Evidently, the instigator claimed he was being harrassed by a senior officer.

   It’s not what I initially thought it wasa cross-border incidentbut it’s tragic all the same.

   This incident got a mention on the FOX News cable channel here in the US today (Sun morning 19 June PDT), in one of their half-hour headline updates; though the mention was brief, it was clearly explained it as an ROK soldier attacking and killing 8 of his peers due to harassment.

   It didn’t mention a senior officer/NCO doing the harassing, so I inferred it was due to “bullying” by the soldier’s peers. Thus I knew to look for a mention of it here, after logging on.
