I guess Kim Hee-son, Lee Hyo-ri and Han Chae-young could convince me to pay my taxes, although if I ever run into Andre Kim at the tax office I’m getting the hell out of there as fast as I possibly can.

I guess the only way to react to this sort of thing is to start up a blog betting pool, because at some point in the next six months, it’s going to come out that at least one, if not all, of the people in that picture didn’t pay their taxes.
Andre Kim could always use the ‘I’m from another planet and not subject to your laws, Earthman” defense, though.
Since employers [normally] pay your taxes for you every month, commoners like us are in no danger of being hit by the tax office. Independent workers like these “talents”, on the other hand…
This is a brilliant idea! Although call me a cynic, but jd’s thought (not the “Earth-man” bit, though) also ran through my head as I was reading the article….
I want to pay more.
this whole goodwill ambassador thing is getting tired….
I wonder if that shoe polish Andre Kim smears on his head is tax deductible.
Now that there are such pretty faces (Andre Kim?€™s nightmarish mug excluded) encouraging me to pay my taxes (like I had a choice in the matter?€?) I suppose I can feel better about it-nei I will fight to be first in line to pay them such is the fervor these ambassadors instill in me. Perhaps that is all the Democrats in the US need is some tax ambassadors to make paying taxes there more popular. I wonder if they could get Angelina Jolie, Pamela Anderson and others to take that job on?€? Imagine, the issue of collecting all the taxes that are due the government all this time could have been solved by employing tax ambassadors.
Yeah right-dumbest idea yet-the people selected by the government are probably among the worst offenders while the small to medium businesses that will be squeezed have much less freedom in the matter. Perhaps the tax collector worked out a deal with these ambassadors to look the other way when it comes to their tax records in exchange for this ?€?service?€™.
“looking the other way” is much more of what i’d like andre kim to do.
is it just me, or is andre perving the tax commissioner in the photo?
“Goodwill ambassadors.” Another piece of the well-oiled money making machine set up by entertainment agencies in Korea. The celebs get some fame, some government or business official gets his picture in the paper next to said celeb, and the celeb’s agent gets a nice chunk of cash.
They’ve rigged the system pretty well…
