Be very interesting to be a fly on the wall during the Bush Roh meeting.
Yes, let’s all hope they find more to agree than disagree about!
What’s the deal with the Bush and Roh images that they went with? Looks like they’re puckering up for a buss…
Bush looks like he’s thinking: “Oh, geez, I hope this guy doesn’t ask me if I remember his name.”
Well, that just looks like two photos cut-’n'-pasted together. Not as bad as this, which really happened!
Here are some better pictures of Bush with Roh.
Dammit, no direct links. Try this one then
The quintessential Bush in all his glory.
The quintessential Bush in all his glory.Huh? I thought people liked Bush in these here e-parts.
Which e-parts would that be?
Marmot’s, Flying Yangban, the GI blog, etc.
Huh. Well I guess someone has to like him. Otherwise, how the heck did he pull of that Houdini-like reelection? But please let’s not allow this thread to turn into a political discussion…things have been rather calm here lately, which is nice.
“Roh, Bush to Affirm Principle of Peaceful N.K. Resolution”
Wow! That’s really what the whole sitution has been missing all this time. Why didn’t they think of that earlier?
You know the summit’s a failure if they come away from it saying what they did was “reaffirm principle of peaceful resolution” to NK nuclear issue. At best, hope they talked of things substantial and just aren’t telling us.
I think we should insist that Roh and Bush tell us everything they talked about, every little strategy they’ve cooked up. We have a right to know how they’re going to play their hand. We bloggers need to advise them. And since most North Koreans don’t have computers and can’t read English too good, I don’t think we have to worry about anyone up there finding out our strategy.
“Star cells”, wtf? I thought the article was going to be about cloning ??´??€??? or something… maybe that’s not such a bad idea. We could clone her and give her to baduk. I think he needs to get laid something awful.
Kushibo:
Yes, your average citizen in the North would not own a computer or have access to the Internet, but it would appear that some members of the elite have computers, and at the very highest level, Internet access in all likelihood.
It’s a safe bet that all the stuff that’s out there for public consumption–the recent RAND report on reunification, etc.–is available to those in the North who have the right access privileges.
[Kushibo pops his head back in]
To paraphrase Homer Simpson: Oh, by the way… I was being sarcastic
[Kushibo slams door as he leaves]
D’oh!
Actually, Marge answers, “Well, d’uh!”
