The president’s adviser on national security usually heads the top intelligence agency, and National Security Adviser Kwon Chin-ho was accordingly touted last week as a certainty for the job.
However, the source said, former Unification Minister Jeong Se-hyun has been added to the list as a potential candidate because of his familiarity with the North Korean nuclear issue.
Jeong Se-hyun and Chung Dong-young together in one government.

This hints at the sinister, Machiavellian nature of Korean politics…the intent is to keep North Korea alive as a comfort woman for as long as possible.
Then again, at least we now where the two Jeongs/Chungs are concentrated, which might make it easier to cutr off the intel flows.
