Event though we know from experience that Usenet is never a place to like, actually, find any kind of information you might actually use and stuff, it is still at least somewhat entertaining and kinda-sorta thought-provoking.
Just doing a bit of skimming in ye olde virtual cesspool, we saw a few interesting threads about Korea. One thread in soc.history.what-if talks about how to jiggle reality vis-a-vis the DPRK and ROK, while another thread eliminates U.S. involvement in the 6.25 War altogether. Here’s another interesting thread.
The more things change, the more things stay the same, I guess.
Of course, once you post something to Usenet, it’s there forever.
