Whenever we read a newspaper lede that contains the phrase “sudden collapse of the North Korean regime” we get a warm, glowing feeling in the cockles of our heart.
Unfortunately, usually, it’s indigestion, so we get to read about stuff like this:
When the South Korean government announced in April it would bear full responsibility for responding to a collapse of the regime in Pyongyang, U.S. government and military leaders were reportedly furious at the effort to exclude U.S. forces.

It’s nice to know that the RoK and the U.S. are at least talking about something that could cause a wave of scrawny, starving DPRK defectors to slam suddenly into the Seoul/Incheon area in the dead of night.
