Still no mention here of SNU's most recent breakthrough in embryotic stem cell research? Wuzzup wit dat sheeit?

Time Magazine's Inside the cloning lab is a good intro. Ars Technia tells us that Hwang's technique does not use newly created human life. With the US embroiled (as usual) in a moral debate, the White House drags its heels. Meanwhile it looks like the Blue House is ready to give full support to local researchers.

Highly recommend Wikipedia for a stem cell primer. The International Society for Stem Cell Research has an excellent science-heavy look at the specifics of Hwang's most recent breakthrough.
