It was very nice, the free food was wonderful and saw a rather rare bird by the temple (?Œ”??‰?¡°). I'm not sure if it is common elsewhere but they also had this "sam-gak" display of three older Korean deities (Chil-seong, San-shin, Dok-seong) incorporated into one shrine at the temple. As somebody who grew up listening to Alan Watts on NPR (yes, I'm that old) and reading D.T. Suzuki, I find the state of Buddhism a little dismal.
