Whoa… is that available on GT4?
100 million Won…what’s the point of buying a car like this, when there’s nowhere to drive or enjoy it? Unless one likes to sit in bumber to bumper traffic and rev the engine to impress fellow drivers, like I saw a young man do with his Trans Am on the expressway right outside Seoul.
I thought that this was maserati (almost the same price). Good news is it will be available in the U.S. but bad news is I can’t afford it…
Proto?? It sounds too much like Malaysia’s cheapy Proton auto company. Best if they changed their name, and their Konglish filled web site. They really need to get another marketing exec.
this, “supercar?”
it’s pretty, but the spec is dissapointing, the design looks like warmed-over honda nsx, but i supposed it’s new for Korea. kudos.
I think it’s simply over priced. The engine specs aren’t impressive. At 4.4 seconds, the V-8 engine barely beats the fastest Japanese cars, Subaru Impreza STDi and the Mitsubishi Evolution by only 0.2 seconds. Both Subaru and Mitsubishi are also 300+ horsepowers, but they are 4 cylinder turbo engines which tend to consume less premium gas and they are half the price.
It’s probably best to stick with the new 2006 Hyundai Sonata that’s coming out of the assembly lines in Alabama. The same website gave rave reviews for its (get this) sportiness mixed with generous passenger size, handling, reliability, and speed (a Hyundai?? Amazing)
Cars are taxed out the ass in Korea. Personally, I don’t think that’s such a bad thing, as it puts a much bigger emphasis on fuel efficiency, although displacement isn’t directly proportional to environmental friendliness. Kimbob is right though, it’s pretty hard to call this a supercar. You can get a Lamborghini for “just” 167,000,000???.
Looks like a Rodius that has been sat on by Michael Moore.
Only 8 comments on a thread about cars, on a blog prolifically commented on by guys?
There should have been a racing girl in that picture….
That’s Honda NSX Look-alike.
It makes me hungry.
