Gee, just when things looked like they might be calming down a bit, we get this. For those who read Korean, Foreign Minister Ban Ki-moon had a bit to say about Pyongyang’s fuel-rod announcement (via OhMyNews); he expressed concern, noted it could all be a negotiating tactic ™, and called for a cool-headed response.
The NYT cautioned against jumping to conclusions. Tons of other stuff via Google.

That bit about the NYT telling people to avoid jumping to conclusions is funny?€? they give KJI (dictator and so much more) a break and yet they assume GWB (democratically elected and subject to checks and balances from the other two branches of government) to be in the wrong, time and again?€?
I have to disagree with this. The NYT was heavily criticized for not being more “investigative” and skeptical about Dubya’s claims of alleged WMD in the run-up to Gulf War II. NYT even came out with a rather contrite statement on this last year.
(I just noticed that GhW Bush I started GWI, and GW Bush II started GWII. Coincidence?).
